Press Release on Michael Nazir Ali’s ordination to the priesthood
The ordination to the priesthood of Michael Nazir-Ali by Cardinal Vincent Nichols will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption, Warwick Street on Saturday 30th October at 12 noon.

Michael Nazir-Ali was received into the full communion of the Catholic Church by Mgr Keith Newton on the feast of St Michael and All Angels.
This is an important occasion for the Ordinariate and we are delighted that Michael made the decision to enter full communion of the Catholic Church through the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.

With the permission of the Holy See, Michael Nazir-Ali was ordained Deacon on Thursday 28th October by Archbishop Kevin McDonald, Archbishop Emeritus of Southwark, at St Mary’s College, Oscott during a residential meeting of the Ordinariate of the Governing Council.
