“Do we worship the Creator or the creation?” I have come to the conclusion that TEC and a large portion of the Protestant world worships the creation. My own wording was rather awkward so it is far better stated here. God is abused to provide an excuse for our nonsense. Reaching that point has directed me to Orthodoxy.
I disagree with George on why the ACofC does not publish their statistics. Having had to fill out diocesan return for years, they do collect them. I believe they chose not to because the numbers proved that they were (are) on the wrong path. Now they have bought into so completely the Spirit of the Age they cannot admit they are wrong and will destroy the ACofC rather than do so.
We listen to all the horror stories about priests and bishops just running amuck but no one, to my knowledge, speaks about what is or may be happening in seminaries across the West. Is it more ideological or is it sound theology that is being taught?
