Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

May the peace of our Lord be with you. In these days of instability, we believe we have even more need for the peace of our Lord!

We respect all who express their dissatisfaction with the government through a peaceful and rational manner. However, we were incredibly saddened when a group of protestors smashed their way into the Legislative Council Building and vandalized it, because in Hong Kong, these acts of violence are unacceptable, and we cannot make requests to be heard through destructive behaviour.

We appeal to all parties to stop acts that destroy mutual trust and love, and to adopt a sincere, peaceful and rational attitude to solve the problem.

We appeal to the government to respond to the citizens’ requests through practical action in order to rebuild trust between both sides, and strengthen communication so that the government can better serve its citizens.

We continue to pray to God for his blessing and guidance so that Hong Kong may move forward. Let Hong Kong be filled with hope, peace and love!
