Doctor Sami Fawzy, Archbishop of Alexandria for the Episcopal Church, congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the armed forces and the masses of Egyptians on the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious October victory.

“The war that changed history and produced heroes that we are proud of until today for their defence and protection of the homeland,” the Archbishop said.

“The Egyptian army, despite the passage of those years, still enjoys the spirit of the October victory and offers the homeland heroes who defend the homeland,” the Archbishop assured.

“God would protect Egypt, and the spirit of victory would continue to lead and develop the country,” the Archbishop prayed.
