The church is missing a great opportunity to minister to those who are seeking God as they emerge from Covid. After millions have died, the last thing the broken world needs to see is an empty woke church.

Morning Prayer was the norm in many churches back in the day at the height of attendance circa 1960 with Communion once a month. One would think that population growth alone would keep ASA (average Sunday attendance) at those levels but alas there has been some innovations since. I don’t know about recent years but St. Marks Cathedral in Seattle used to be packed for Sunday Compline. It looked like many attending were neighborhood people winding down their weekend with lots of young people and not necessarily members. After compline (plainsong?), many would turn around, sit on the floor, and listen to an organ concert. I don’t think we should dismiss other services that people connect with in church life.
if I remember correctly, the courts said GC are trustees of everything and you have to get their permission to buy or sell. Bruno made himself Corporation Sole.
