Mauritius a model of peace, says General Secretary of the Anglican Communion

Government press release on visit of ACC general secretary to the Indian Ocean

Mauritius is a model of peace not just for the region but for the whole world.
 
This statement was made on Friday 19 October 2018 by the General Secretary of the Anglican Communion, Reverend Joshiah Idowu Fearon after paying a courtesy call on the Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, External Communications and National Development Unit, Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, at the New Treasury Building in Port Louis.
 
Reverend Fearon highlighted that his meeting with Prime Minister Jugnauth was cordial and discussions focused on youth, unemployment and the drug scourge amongst others.
The General Secretary of the Anglican Communion Reverand Fearon from Nigeria was accompanied by the Bishop of Mauritius, the Right Reverend Ian Ernest.
