Over the weekend, Presiding Bishop Jefferts Schori attended a discussion with the Rector of St Margaret’s and Chair of the Westminster Abbey Institute, the Venerable Andrew Tremlett, about Church/State relations in Westminster.

Presiding Bishop Jefferts Schori also attended Choral Evensong on Saturday and Sunday, Choral Matins on Sunday and the Sung Eucharist on Sunday where she preached.

She also attended an Abbey congregation lunch for 200 people on Sunday.

The Dean of Westminster said, ‘The Abbey welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors and worshippers from the United States each year. It was a particular pleasure to welcome the Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori, who has visited the Abbey on previous occasions. We look forward to further strengthening the historic links between our countries and churches.’
