Dr. Israel Ahimbisibwe, his wife Dorcus and their five year- old son Israel, were bludgeoned to death in their Houston home. Their 19-year-old son, Isaac, has been arrested for their murders. The Rt. Rev. Nathan Ahimbisibwe, Bishop of North Ankole, a cousin of the deceased, shared memories of his student days and family memories. According to local press reports from the service, the bishop said: “We lived a good life even during the difficult times I knew I had Israel to lean on,” adding: “Israeli and his family have finished their mission on earth and we should all make peace with God so that we can live our lives like the Israel’s.” After killings the suspected killer fled Texas but was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Mississippi and was extradited to Harris County Texas to stand trial on three counts of first degree murder.
