An article posted on this website entitled “Forward in Faith UK leader celebrates London’s Gay Pride Festival” has been taken down. While the facts reported by the author of the story were correct, that portion of the article concerning Dr. Lindsay Newcombe was incomplete. Anglican Ink has spoken with those with direct knowledge about Dr. Newcombe’s role in these affairs, and believes that it would be in the best interests of all concerned as a ministry matter to spike the story. Emotions and feelings are at fever pitch as the Church of England begins the debate over women bishops. AI should not make matters worse by stoking the flames.
