Ministry is essentially local. These dicisions do not impact the life and ministry of the Diocese of Wyoming. Our ministry will carry on as we seek to continue to present Christ in each of our communities, throughout the state, the nation and even the world.
We remain linked to the Diocese of Leicester in England, the Dioceses of Kiteto and Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and also the Trichy-Tanjore Diocese in South India. I am pleased that in the midst of the challenges the primates faced they found a way to keep the communion together.
Once again let me encourage us to be our Lord’s eyes, that we may see God’s vision. Our Lord’s ears, that we may hear his call. Our Lord’s hands, that we may touch with his healing grace. Our Lord’s body, for we are the body of Christ to the world and especially to those near to us. Let us be a blessing, for we are God’s good news as we share in our Lord’s ministry.
