Anglican Church of Mexico

An Anglican bishop attending the Anglican Primate’s Meeting in Rome, is accused of abetting electoral fraud (by locking up priests to impede them from voting in an episcopal election) and whose power of attorney to represent the Church has been suspended by his country’s judiciary.

Bishop Enrique Treviño is currently attending the five days meeting of Anglican Primates in Rome along with the Archbishop of Canterbury in spite of the judiciary suspension against him in his home country Mexico.
