Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
The Annual Mass and Meeting of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament will be held at the Church of the Ascension, Chicago, on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Thursday, May 30, at 11:00 a.m. CST. The Rt. Rev’d Daniel H. Martins, XI Bishop of Springfield and Superior-General of the Confraternity, will celebrate and preach.
Luncheon and the Meeting will follow the Solemn Mass.
Thanks to the Rector, Fr. Carlos de la Torre, for his gracious welcome of the Confraternity. The Church of the Ascension has a long history of involvement with the Confraternity; Fr. William Brewster Stoskopf, Rector from 1909 to 1951, served as Vice-Superior of the Confraternity.
