This month we welcome C4SO’s new Regional Dean of the Midwest—the Very Rev. Jon Odom! Jon is Rector of Cornerstone Tulsa and has graciously agreed to serve C4SO by assisting Bishop Todd with mission and pastoral care in the Midwest. Jon succeeds the Rev. Patrick Wildman, who served C4SO well as Dean of the Midwest for 13 years. Watch the video below to meet Jon!

What Is a Regional Dean?Regional Deans are key to the structure of C4SO, sharing in Bishop Todd’s leadership of mission and pastoral care in each of our six Deaneries. Their responsibilities may include:Working with local clergy to develop a regional vision for ministry and plantingHelping Bishop Todd with oversight and care for clergy and people of the DeaneryRaising up new leadersProviding supportive and collaborative leadership for mission and ministry in the DeaneryConvening a Clericus (a monthly gathering of the Deanery’s clergy) as well as other Deanery meetings and eventsDeveloping a stronger sense of community among clergy and congregations
