The bishops elected the Rt. Rev. Ibrahim Makus, the Bishop of Yola to be the new Archbishop of the Jos province, and elected the Rt. Rev. Cyril Odutemu, Bishop of Ughelli, as Archbishop of Bendel province.

Two diocesan bishops were elected: the Rev. Canon Cletus Tambari will become the Bishop of Gombe, and the Rev. Canon Benson Chukwunwike will become the Bishop of Awgu Aninri.

Two suffragan bishops were elected to serve the Anglican Diocese of the West in the United States: the Ven. Scott Seely and the Ven. Celestine Ironna.
