The Archbishop of Polynesia and co-primate of the Anglican Church of Aotearoa, New Zealand & Polynesia was consecrated Sunday at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Suva, Fiji.
The Most Rev. Fereimi Cama will be the seventh archbishop of Polynesia and first Fijian — following four Europeans, a Tongan and Samoan.
The President of Fiji, Major General Jioji Konrote, joined bishops from New Zealand and Australia at the packed cathedral for the 10 March 2019 ceremony.
