Queen Elizabeth presents a corgi to the Patriarch of Moscow during his visit to London

The Queen has presented a corgi to the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kyrill of Moscow and All Russia, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports. The Russian newspaper states the dog was given to Kyrill today during his four day visit to London to mark the 300th anniversary of the Russian Orthodox Church in England.  The Archbishop of Canterbury, Prince Michael of Kent, and members of the Romanov dynasty joined government ministers and other civic leaders joined Kyrill at the 16 Oct 2016 service at the Uspensky Cathedral to mark the occassion. “The chief really likes the puppy. He will take him with him back to Moscow,” Kyrill’s press officer, Alexander Volkov, told Komsolmolskaya Pravda.
