Join us on Sunday, August 17, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, for An Evening with Andrew White, the Vicar of Baghdad.

The Rev. Canon Dr. Andrew White is the Vicar of St. George’s Church, just outside the Green Zone, in Baghdad, Iraq. This congregation is the only remaining Anglican church in the country. He is also the President of the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East. He will be our guest preacher on Sunday morning, August 17, in our Sanctuary Services and then join us on Sunday evening for this special discussion. Our conversation will focus on his unique perspective and ministry within Iraq and the Middle East, including his role mediating and re-establishing the dialogue between conflicting groups. There will be an opportunity to contribute financial support towards his ongoing missionary efforts, as well.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear firsthand about life in the Green Zone and the struggles Christians face in the Muslim world.

Nursery care is available by reservation; e-mail Nursery@ChristChurchPlano.org.
