The Christian Community of Amritsar came together in a powerful display of unity and compassion, organizing a Candle March to pay tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam massacre. With candles lit and hearts full of prayer, we marched through the city’s streets, spreading a message of peace and unity. The Rt. Revd. Manoj Charan, Bishop, Diocese of Amritsar led the march, extending condolences to the families of the 26 innocent lives lost and praying for the eternal peace of the victims.

“We stand in solidarity with their loved ones, beseeching God to grant them strength and solace in this profound loss,” said Bishop Manoj Charan. This meaningful gesture reaffirms our commitment to promoting peace, compassion, and unity in the face of diversity.
