Great episode throwing much needed light on some machinations within ACNA. Taking the kid gloves off was over due. ACNA famously claims to be orthodox. Well, make it so. It is not healthy for a few outliers in an organization to hang their credentials on the wall and then feel free to set the agenda and direction for everyone; marxism -> atheism. This CRT stuff needs to be pounded back into the dark hole it came.
I did not know Christ Church Plano moved from Pittsburgh to C4SO. Hmmm. Would they follow C4SO if it split or is it just as likely they go independent in the congregational mode? IMHO there likewise was the start of an attempted coup at Truro Church before it was nipped in the bud. No need to wait for trouble to pick the time and battlefield.
CRT within Christendom shifts our focus from our real identity in Christ, and our brotherhood in his name. It is fundamentally divisive.
re Fletcher. What George is describing with Fletcher is sometimes called a whisper network. The perverse and oppressive practices were known well enough for people to advise their friends to watch out for this guy. What is it about these institutions that robs us of the courage to speak when something so wrong is taking place?
