To reflect the reoriented priorities of the Diocese as we prepare for a new bishop, the Standing Committee has made some difficult changes to Diocesan staffing, effective December 31, 2020. Eliminating positions is always challenging, but more given the deep respect we hold for the work and care our Canons have brought to their respective ministries. With great appreciation, therefore, we thank The Reverends Canon Karen Stevenson, Canon Joanne Martin and Canon Tracey Russell for their service.
Please join us as we pray for our colleagues and our Diocese during this continued season of transition:
Go before us, O Lord, in all our doings with your most gracious favor, and further us with your continual help; that in all our work begun, continued and ended in you, we may glorify your holy Name, and finally, through your mercy, obtain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
