SC Episcopal Church Case – Order of 2020.06.19 by George Conger on Scribd

TBTG! I am glad that he took the time to look through documents which made clear that no parish had acceded to the Denis Canon. Wonderful news for the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina!!
It would never had gone this long this far had the SC Supreme Court justice who was extremely biased for TEC removed herself instead of tainting the whole process.
Great news for the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina.
Of course, by this time next week, TEC will have appealed…. Statements are already up on the TECSC website indicating that they see Judge Dickson’s ruling as contrary to the decision by the SC Supreme Court. So, while this is a joyous day, it certainly appears that there will be a replay before the SC Supreme Ct. justices (well, with 2 new names, and presumably 1 recusal).
I am hoping Judge Dickson’s order will be helpful in the appeal. He did a wonderful job of explaining his decision about each individual church. His order was thorough and quite orderly!
That should indeed be very helpful.
Thanks be to God! I agree that he took the time that made clear that no parish acceded to the Dennis Canon. Prayers ascending that this decision will be upheld by the Court of Appeals and the state Supreme Court should they hear it again.
This is a big win for South Carolina. South Carolina is a good fit within ACNA. Let’s not forget Bp. Jack Iker and the Diocese of Ft. Worth that did the right thing leaving the apostasy of TEC, fought the good fight, won their court case and now will be smothered by that promise of safe harbor within ACNA. Iker is retired. Wonder if he has regrets
