Bishop Steve Wood’s family reports that as of this morning [26 March 2020] his condition has stabilized. After several difficult days in the Intensive Care Unit at East Cooper Medical Center in Mt Pleasant the bishop’s condition improved today.

They write: “Today Steve’s physicians and nurses communicated that he is stable and slightly improved compared to yesterday. They anticipate that this will be a longer process than we all originally thought, but they are pleased with how well he is doing.”

The other member of St Andrew’s Church in Mt. Pleasant whose test indicated he carried the virus, Rev. Anthony Kowbeidu, the church’s associate rector for missions, was showing no symptoms of the illness.
