  1. In the light of what you have said here where does the christian go when voting in elections? I deeply struggled with the prospect in voting for any of the party’s i considered withdrawing from ever voting again. it was only after praying and asking God what to do, then a Christian friend decided to stand and thus i voted for Him. But there’s this void that as a christian i am no longer welcome in politics. I want to thank you gentlemen for this episode. May you all have a blessed Christmas

  2. The comment regarding the dumping of the Lib.Dem. because of his opinion on abortion does not surprise me. Look at Canadian politics. For the last 15 years the Liberal party challenges any Conservative party leader who does not agree with abortion on this issue. The sub-comment is that anyone who is pro-life has no place in Canadian politics. When J. Layton was leader of the NDP he stated while sitting in the visitors gallery of the House of Commons, he did not have a seat, said any member of the party who votes against same sex marriage would be kicked out of the party. We as Christians must realise that we live in a post-Christian, almost anti-Christian society where morality is on the decline. George is right that change must come within the parish.
The clergy within the parishes have the responsibility of teaching the Gospel to people and therefore changing their hearts. This must be repeated for each generation, If the focus is here, then amazing things happen. We won’t be complaining about what or what not Bishops and politicians do.
