Please help me to understand this – As I see it, now we have the Ontario House of Bishops supporting an Ontario Bishop who is in violation of the Canons of his own Province, chastising an Archbishop for endeavoring to uphold the advice of the Instruments of Communion. If so, Lord Have Mercy.
I don’t know what could be said to understand this state of affairs except for this: I wouldn’t even bother to understand because the days of authority of this spiritually-rotten six-member household are numbered.
In times gone by, a communique from a bishop(s) would carry apostolic authority to uphold the faith of the faithful — they also admonished and edified the faithful.
This statement is junk mail. It’s a terrible shame that this junk mail is sent from an ecclesial province purporting to represent all the faithful.
