Well, to be fair to Mr. Shepherd, his point of view and peculiar religion are taught by several of the TEC seminaries. And I am sure some of the English and no doubt other seminaries scattered about the Anglican world. Not that long ago, as we will all recall, Shannon Johnston invited some big name revisionists to Virginia to impart such “wisdom” to all his clergy.
To tell the truth, before watching this episode, I was worrying that perhaps I had been a bit rough in my appraisal of Mr. Shepherd, what with his “Christ is risen” and all. Now I am thinking I was not sufficiently critical.
