The Archbishop of Canterbury is the Metropolitan Archbishop of Bermuda

The Rt. Rev. Nicholas Dill, Bishop of Bermuda.

Born in 1963 in Bermuda, Bishop Nick Dill trained and practiced as a solicitor, earning a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree before entering Wycliffe Hall, Oxford to train for the ministry. Ordained deacon for the diocese of Bermuda, and priest in the Church of England, he served his curacy and as an assistant at All Saint’s Linfield in the diocese of Chichester from 1998 to 2005. That year he returned to Bermuda and was appointed priest in charge of the Parish of Pembroke. He was elected 12th Bishop of Bermuda in 2013 and consecrated on 29 May 2013 by the Bishop of Bradford, the Rt. Rev. Nicholas Baines, on behalf of Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby. He and his wife Fiona have six children.
