Rev Canon Kenneth Kanyankole has been elected Chairperson of the Provincial House of Clergy, while Mr Sam Atul has been elected Chairperson of the Provincial House of Laity.

Rev Canon Kenneth Kanyankole is the Head of Clergy for the Diocese of Kinkiizi, while Mr Sam Atul is the Head of Laity for the Diocese of Lango and is the Mayor of Lira City.

The elections were held today during the 28th Provincial Assembly of Church of Uganda, currently taking place at Uganda Christian University (UCU).
