The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, has urged Ugandans to promote unity and stop bickering over religious and political differences. Based on the actions and faith portrayed by the 24 martyrs, both catholic and Anglican, who were executed from the protestant shrine, Kaziimba says Ugandans should opt for dialogue and discussion than resorting to disunity. This was during the service held at Namungongo protestant Martyrs shrine where he welcomed the Northern Uganda Cluster Diocese.
