CEEC: A grand plan for the autumn

1868

CEEC continues to work with other constituencies in the Alliance in an attempt to secure orthodoxy in the Church of England given that the Living in Love and Faith project continues to progress. This autumn we will be working on three parallel ‘fronts’, which can be summarised under the strap-line: ‘principled protest and permanent provision’.

Firstly, we will continue to push for negotiations, which will enable long term provision to be made for all of us wishing to hold on to biblical teaching and practice around human sexuality.

Secondly, we will begin to build the ‘de facto parallel province’ as announced by the Alliance. More details of this will be in our next update.

Thirdly, we will be encouraging more churches and clergy to take action to show their concern about the current direction of travel. We would love to see 500 churches paying their parish share thought the Ephesian Fund and 500 clergy receiving the alternative spiritual oversight being facilitated by CEEC.

It’s a fact…

  • Without more clergy and churches taking action we run the risk of being ignored and/or dismissed by the bishops.
  • With more clergy and churches talking action, our call for negotiation can get louder and more impactful.

Can you support us in this grand plan:

  • By taking action?
  • By praying for us?
  • By asking members of your PCC to join the meetings described in the item below?

Thank you for your partnership in the gospel.
