I trust your Christmas celebration was lived in the reality of our great God and Saviour, even if you were unable to enjoy it with family and relatives due to the current health regulations that have been impacting us all throughout this year. The Lord Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and He continues to hold us and secure our future regardless of the happenings in our world.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Gafcon. Whilst COVID-19 has thrown our world into chaos, it is merely a smoke-screen for the real pandemic of ignoring the Word of our great God. Gafcon was formed in the midst of a growing crisis where church leaders, women and men had lost confidence in the revealed word of God, and we have seen the reality of 2 Timothy 4 realised in our life-time:

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Gafcon continues to uphold Paul’s injunction to Timothy… In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge:

Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. And further, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

With the New Year only days away, we will continue to see the push to ignore God and to make human ideology and its aberrations the “gods of this age.” Gafcon’s commitment is to “proclaim Christ faithfully to the nations” and with your help, both prayerfully and financially, we will continue to chart a straight course through 2021 and beyond.

May you continue to see the gracious leading of our God through 2021.
