  1. Shiite Muslims instinctively grasp what TERFs (“trans-exclusionary radical feminists”) do: that transgender ideology is a vicious attack on the very idea of “womanhood”.

    • Hmm.
      I heard this morning on the radio (LBC) that some clerical group in Iran actually praised the idea of women wanting to transition and become like their superiors…

  2. I had a wonderful five years in an evangelical mission community. It was a real blessing. I would agree that the monastic life is set apart and cut off from the everyday world, but then God can breathe life into all forms of Christian expression, so personally I wouldn’t write off their prayers or their calling.
    Your last sentence could equally apply to many churches where the ritual is performed perfectly, but the Spirit is absent..
