Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
With profound humility and a heart filled with thanksgiving to Almighty God, I write to express my deepest gratitude following my Consecration and Enthronement as the 𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝑩𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒇 𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒚𝒂, 𝑲𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒘𝒂 𝑫𝒊𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒆. This sacred occasion will remain a cherished milestone in the life of our Diocese and a powerful testimony to God’s unfailing faithfulness.
The overwhelming love, unity, prayers, and fellowship demonstrated by the Church, our nation, and friends from beyond our borders reflected the beauty of the Body of Christ gathered in worship and thanksgiving. I remain deeply humbled by the confidence you have placed in me to shepherd the flock of Christ within this Diocese.
First and above all, I give all glory, honor, and praise to Almighty God, whose gracious hand has guided every step of this journey. It is by His mercy alone that I have been called to this sacred office. May His Holy Name be praised forever.
I convey my deepest appreciation to 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆, 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒓. 𝑱𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑶𝒍𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒕, Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church of Kenya, for his spiritual fatherhood, wise leadership, faithful mentorship, and for presiding over my Consecration. Your Grace, your steadfast commitment to the mission of Christ and your confidence in God’s calling upon my life are gifts I shall always treasure.
I am sincerely grateful to 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝑫𝒓. 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒎 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒆𝒊 𝑹𝒖𝒕𝒐, 𝑪𝑮𝑯, President of the Republic of Kenya, for honoring this sacred occasion. Your presence affirmed the important partnership between the Church and the nation as we work together to uphold righteousness, peace, justice, and the dignity of every Kenyan.
My heartfelt gratitude also goes to 𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒋𝒐𝒓 (𝑹𝒕𝒅.) 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒂 𝑨𝒍𝒖𝒑𝒐, Vice President of the Republic of Uganda. Your presence among us was a remarkable expression of the enduring bonds of friendship, faith, and mutual respect that unite our peoples across national boundaries.
I warmly thank all Cabinet Secretaries, Governors, Members of Parliament, Members of County Assemblies, County Commissioners, leaders of various institutions, development partners, traditional leaders, and all distinguished guests who honored us with your presence. Your participation enriched this historic celebration and affirmed the shared responsibility we bear in serving our communities.
To my esteemed brothers in Christ, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒇 𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒚𝒂, together with our beloved Bishops who graciously traveled from 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒖𝒅𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑼𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂, I extend my heartfelt appreciation. Your presence reminded us that the Church of Christ is one Body, united in faith, hope, and love. Thank you for your prayers, fellowship, and encouragement.
To the of Katakwa Diocese, together with priests, deacons, evangelists, catechists, and ministers who traveled from many dioceses and provinces, I express my profound gratitude. Your faithful ministry, prayers, and solidarity continue to strengthen the mission of Christ’s Church. May the Chief Shepherd richly bless your labor.
With sincere appreciation, I recognize the 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒆, both within Kenya and our brothers and sisters serving in the Diaspora. Your sacrificial service, careful planning, generosity, and unwavering commitment transformed a vision into a memorable celebration worthy of the glory of God. Your labor was not in vain.
I pay special tribute to those upon whose faithful foundations we now continue to build. I honor the family of 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑹𝒕. 𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑬𝒍𝒊𝒖𝒅 𝑶𝒌𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑩𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 𝒐𝒇 Katakwa Diocese, whose pioneering ministry established a lasting spiritual legacy. I also express my profound gratitude to our beloved Emeritus Bishops, The 𝑹𝒕. 𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑫𝒓. 𝒁𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑬𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒕. 𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 𝑶𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝑶𝒌𝒖𝒅𝒆, for your faithful episcopal leadership, wisdom, and enduring counsel. We remain grateful for your example of servant leadership and your steadfast devotion to Christ and His Church.
To the faithful people of God throughout the great Diocese of Katakwa, spread across 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒂 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒚, 𝑩𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒎𝒂 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝑵𝒛𝒐𝒊𝒂 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒚, I thank you from the depths of my heart. Your prayers, generosity, faithfulness, and unwavering commitment to the work of the Gospel continue to inspire me. I receive this calling with humility and with a renewed commitment to serve all God’s people without partiality, seeking always to proclaim Christ faithfully, shepherd His flock lovingly, equip the saints for ministry, and build a Diocese that reflects the Kingdom of God.
I also extend heartfelt appreciation to every parish, choir, Mothers’ Union, Kenya Anglican Men Association, Kenya Anglican Youth Organization, Sunday School, guild, institution, volunteer, media team, protocol committee, security personnel, health workers, hospitality teams, and every individual whose contribution, whether public or unseen, made this sacred celebration a resounding success.
The Lord, who sees every act of love and service, will surely reward you abundantly.
As we begin this new chapter together, I humbly ask for your continued prayers. Pray that I may remain faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, steadfast in prayer, humble in service, courageous in truth, compassionate in shepherding God’s people, and obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
May our Diocese continue to be a beacon of hope, reconciliation, holiness, and faithful witness. Together, let us press forward with renewed zeal, proclaiming Christ crucified and risen, nurturing disciples, serving the vulnerable, promoting justice, and glorifying God in every generation.
May the Lord establish the work of our hands and grant us fruit that will endure.

Almighty and Everlasting God,
We offer You our heartfelt thanksgiving for Your abundant grace, mercy, and faithfulness. Thank You for gathering Your people from many places to witness this sacred moment in the life of Your Church.
Bless abundantly all who attended, prayed, served, gave generously, and supported this Consecration and Enthronement. Remember them in their families, ministries, vocations, and communities. Grant them health, peace, wisdom, and every spiritual blessing in Christ.
We pray for the Anglican Church of Kenya, for the Diocese of Katakwa, and for all who are called to serve Your people. Fill us afresh with the Holy Spirit that we may faithfully proclaim Your Gospel, defend the truth, love one another sincerely, and be effective witnesses of Your Kingdom.
Bless Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and all nations represented during this celebration. Grant wisdom to our leaders, peace within our borders, justice for all people, and prosperity founded upon righteousness.
May Christ, the Good Shepherd, lead us always in the paths of holiness until we come to the fullness of His eternal Kingdom.
