Sean Rowe to represent the Anglican Communion at Leo XIV’s inauguration mass

The Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, the Most Rev. Sean Rowe, will represent the Anglican Communion in Rome next week at the inaugural mass of Pope Leo XIV. The announcement was made on 10 May 2025 by the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, in an email announcing a change in the schedule for their 150th anniversary celebrations.

Vatican News reports the Inauguration Mass of Pope Leo XIV is to be held on May 18 at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Square.
