A youth minister is being held without bond on nearly 80 charges of sexual abuse. Kevin Blair Guy (32) who served as a youth minister at the Metro Maryland Chapter of Youth For Christ, which met at Cummins Reformed Episcopal Church in Catonsville, Md., from 2018 until June 2014, was arrested on 12 March 2025, with a formal indictment handed down on 8 April 2025.
The charging document said the abuse took place over six years and involved five different boys. Some of the indecent acts took place at a fast-food restaurant near the church, while other incidents took place at his home in Reisterstown. Guy is also charged with sending explicit photos of himself to the boys in a group message on Snapchat.
The alleged victims told police Guy talked with them about his college sexual experiences with men. He told the boys he would engage in sexual activities with older men when he was high or drunk to get free meals. The document further stated that Guy claimed to have been molested by a man when he was ten years, and suffered from alcoholism.
Update: April 11, 2025
A spokesman for the Reformed Episcopal Church stated Blair was not a youth minister engaged by the parish or diocese of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, but was engaged by Metro-Maryland Youth for Christ – a para church ministry – which rented space from the parish for their operations. No children from Cummins Memorial were involved in this incident. Blair was not involved in the life of the parish, the spokesman noted.
