The point is an important one and not made often enough that our faith is one in which repentance and forgiveness are possible for everyone. As you’ve pointed out the woke narrative being adopted by some priests leaves only room for denouncing and condemning, but not for restoration. It is very sad. It needs to be pointed out more. Perhaps some of those who are being led off into “wokeness” will recognize the incompatibility between this and Christianity.
Kevin, I agree on much of what you said, but not your definition of racism. Racism isn’t about blaming other people for your problems. It’s about seeing/treating other people as less than fully human on the basis of their race.
