  1. Both Gavin and George are making comments regarding their bishops and the lack or relationship with the clergy. As a parishioner, I can say the same thing about clergy. I know of very, very few clergy who know their parishioners and their concerns, for me this is totally unacceptable. What is worse I have not had a priest in over 20 years that I seek any form of counselling. I have found talking to many of my friends of other denominations this is not unique to the Anglican Church. The rot is not just at the top.

    • I’m with you brother. There are some great priests and vicars out there who you and I will know personally but few of them want to release their flock into their God-ordained ministry. They seem to have a spirit of fear – most are reluctant to encourage parishioners to really get involved in the ministry of the church. I asked my current Baptist Minister if he would allow me to talk to the congregation about my wife’s and my ministry of writing Christian books to edify the flock about Biblical truth and the fact that many church leaders and Bishops are ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’ but he declined. Instead he wanted to encourage me to have a sale of jam in the church so that the profits could benefit some of the church’s charities. Whilst that is a Biblical thing to do, teaching the flock seems to be the sole remit of the Minister and ‘trained’ preachers. Come on Church! Wake Up!

  2. Michele and I think this is the best episode we have watched so far. Thank you so much. Please can we have more show-time discussing spiritual warfare. Many of the Church leaders in the west are asleep concerning this vital spiritual teaching and the protection that it provides to all the flock. So far as I can see, many church leaders and preachers have deleted Ephesians 6 from their Bibles. When was the last time you heard a sermon on the subject? Come on Church! Wake Up!
