Archbishop Stanley Ntagali, Bishop of Kampala Diocese (as well as Archbishop of the Church of Uganda), has announced the appointment of Rev. Canon Dr. Rebecca Nyegenye as the Provost of All Saints’ Cathedral, Kampala. This is the first time in the history of the Church of Uganda that a woman has been named to this top position. Thank you, Your Grace. Congratulations Canon Rebecca and all the Christians of All Saints’ Cathedral. We thank God for you and are praying for you. Happy Women’s Day!

My prayers are that this woman and all other African female clergy have profoundly different DNA than 97.3 % of the female clergy in TEC and C of E.
I pray your prayers are answered Reebherb. The rot set into the CofE in 1994, and has continued since then with the disastrous introduction of women who think they are Bishops.
Rebecca is a solid evangelical minister and a wonderful person. She is a graduate of Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge
Amen, David. I have known Rebecca for 18 years and can attest to her godliness and zeal for the Lord.
As an insider, is there a good crop of women candidates being groomed to be permanent dean after Bob Duncan leaves?
Mama Rebecca..may the Almighty God lift you to greater heights for the good of the church and Uganda at large..God bless always
