Joint Anglican-Catholic school for Syrian refugees launched in Jordan

The project will offer 160 children from one to five years of age the opportunity to be cared for in kindergartens

Amman: The Episcopal Church in Jerusalem, belonging to the Anglican Communion, signed a partnership protocol with Caritas Jordan on Tuesday, 11 July, to jointly set up a project regarding school assistance for children belonging to Syrian refugee families. The memorandum, signed in Amman by the General Director of Caritas Jordan Wael Suleiman and Anglican Archbishop Suheil Dawani, (pictured) will offer 160 children from one to five years of age, the opportunity to be cared for in kindergartens housed in two school buildings.
