I welcome the fact that the Primates who seek to uphold Scriptural authority and the Anglican formularies have gone the extra mile by participating in the meetings in Canterbury this week.

I welcome the fact that the Primates who seek to uphold Scriptural authority and the Anglican formularies have gone the extra mile by participating in the meetings in Canterbury this week. It is also good to know that the Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America, with which we have a special relationship, was a full participant. The re-affirmation of biblical norms regarding marriage is welcome, but, as the communique acknowledges, is only a first step in bringing all the Provinces back to Scriptural orthodoxy in many areas. The Free Church of England stands ready to collaborate with others, under God, to bring this about.
