Death reported of Archbishop Akinola’s mother

The Church of Nigeria reports the mother of the former Primate of All Nigeria has died. Mrs. Janet Amoke Akinola passed away on 21 Nov 2015. Born on 3 Aug 1915, she was 100 years old. “Mama Aladura”, as she was known, is survived by her sons, the Most Rev. Peter Akinola and Mr. Akanni Dipeolu and a daughter, Mrs. Joke Ewetade. Burial arrangements have yet to be announced.
