The Archbishop of Canterbury consecrated three new Church of England bishops at Canterbury Cathedral today.

Archbishop Justin Welby consecrated the Revd Rob Wickham as Bishop of Edmonton, the Revd Dr Graham Tomlin as the Bishop of Kensington, and the Revd Rod Thomas as Bishop of Maidstone, in a service at Canterbury Cathedral.

The service was a joyful celebration; the Canterbury Cathedral choir sang hymns and anthems, and the Cathedral’s bells rang before the service as a mark of welcome.
