Grace and peace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

On behalf of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines, I extend my warmest congratulations and heartfelt prayers to The Rt. Revd and Rt. Hon. Dame Sarah Mullally DBE on her appointment as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury and as the spiritual leader of the Anglican Communion across the world.

We give thanks to God for her life, ministry, and steadfast witness of faith and service, and we rejoice with the Church of England and the entire Communion at this historic and grace – filled moment. Her leadership, marked by courage, compassion, and wisdom, is a true gift to our Church in these challenging complex times.

As she assumes this sacred office, we assure Archbishop Sarah of our unwavering support and solidarity. I appeal to everyone to hold her in our constant prayer, that God may strengthen her with vision, humility, and perseverance to shepherd the Communion with unity, justice, and hope.

May the Holy Spirit guide her path, Christ’s love sustain her, and the mission of God be advanced through her leadership.

To God be the glory.
