The Bishop of Oswestry had the great pleasure of hosting lunch today in London for all his predecessors in the ministry he now exercises: Andrew Burnham (Third Bishop of Ebbsfleet); Jonathan Baker (Fourth Bishop of Ebbsfleet); and Jonathan Goodall (Fifth Bishop of Ebbsfleet). Over lunch the bishops recalled with great affection & thanksgiving the ministry of John Richards RIP (First Bishop of Ebbsfleet) whose consecration in the Succesion of the Apostles took place thirty years ago this year. Michael Houghton RIP (Second Bishop of Ebbsfleet) was also remembered with fraternal love.
O Lord, strengthen and prosper exceedingly your Church in the See of Oswestry!
