At the recent ACE Conference at the beginning of June, Bishop Andy Lines welcomed Bishop Josep Rosello to the diocese with a view to planting a new congregation in Benissa on the Costa Blanca in Spain.

Married to Patrice, with a daughter Natalia, Bennisa is +Josep’s home town, at the centre of ten towns without an evangelical church and few opportunities to hear the great good news of Jesus Christ.

+Josep and Patrice are no strangers to church planting, having served for 12 years in Brazil where they planted a diocese that began with 2 couples and grew to include 28 churches and missions in Brazil and Venezuela. They will be returning to Spain this summer with a vision to bring new life where there is most need through King’s Church Benissa. Please pray for them as they reconnect with friends and family, and make new friends through hospitality and the community.

+Josep was previously the minister of Christ Church Exmouth which has subsequently also joined the diocese. He also serves as the Servant General of NAMS (New Anglican Missionary Society).
