From Archbishop Steve Wood: Dear brothers and sisters, I am pleased to share with you the good news that Deborah Tepley has agreed to serve our Province as our next Chief Operating Officer (COO). Deborah is a unique and gifted leader, and I am delighted to have someone with her capabilities join our provincial staff team. She brings over twenty years of experience in business, operations, and human resources management for mission-based organizations in the faith-based, non-profit, and international development sectors. Deborah excels in leading organizations through transitional stages of development. She holds a Master’s Degree in Cross-Cultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University. Currently, she is the Executive Director of Church of the Advent in Washington, D.C., where she leads the strategic implementation of the mission and vision of the church, managing all staff, finance, HR, administration, and communications. Within the wider church, Deborah has held several roles at both the diocesan and provincial levels, notably serving on the ACNA 2030 Task Force and the Executive Committee, of which she is still a member. She has also played a leadership role in Always Forward, the ACNA’s church planting initiative. Deborah is married to Luke, who is a pediatric oncology nurse. Welcome, Deborah! Deborah writes:“I am thrilled to be stepping into the role of Chief Operating Officer for the Anglican Church in North America. I have had the privilege of serving in leadership at the parish, diocesan and provincial levels and have a deep love for the ACNA. As an executive, I enjoy developing and implementing strategy, leading teams, and building relationships that enable organizations to fulfill their mission. I am excited to have the opportunity to use my gifts and years of experience as COO for the ACNA and to serve under Archbishop Steve Wood’s leadership.” |
