The Anglican Province of South East Asia has reaffirmed its displeasure and disagreement with the Church of England’s General Synod over its vote to proceed with the Living in Love and Faith process that permits gay blessings. The 1 March 2024 letter endorsed by the province’s bishops uses stronger language of disapprobation than their 2023 letter, but leaves unclear the province’s relationship with the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev. Justin Welby.
