• First item of the day was the redress scheme. Generally a great acceptance of the need for it. Concerns given around Parish liability but details to be determined at a later stage. Passed with a large majority.
  • Churches conservation Trust funding was overwhelmingly supported. It was pointed out that our funding leads to almost twice as much funding from the Government.
  • Standing order amendments focused on petitions and liturgical business. Amendments for petitions were passed, though some questioned whether they should be removed as a function.
  • LLF motion begun today including a number of amendments. Key themes related to the feelings of pain by LGBT people and their allies, the lack of clarity on legal guidance given to house of bishops, the impact of doctrinal change and whether what is proposed is actually a departure from doctrine.
