Greetings from the Province of South America!
With the Peace of the Lord in our hearts, we wish to announce the appointment of Rt Rev Nicholas Drayson (Bishop of Northern Argentina) as the Primate of the Anglican Province of South America.
The Synod of our province met two days ago on 27 March to deal with several pending matters concerning the Province, one of them being the election of Bishop Nicholas as Primate of the Province.
The Synod also reaffirmed by a unanimous vote, with the support of Bishop Nicholas, our ongoing commitment for Resolution 1.10 from the Lambeth Conference of 1998 as the biblical and official teaching concerning human sexuality in the Anglican Communion.
