One can only be baffled by this obscure message. The Archbishop repeatedly states that God “risked all” in Jesus. This is an absurd statement with no biblical foundation. He speaks about the birth of Jesus as an act of God’s “vulnerability”. Where that idea comes from one can only begin imagine. To make matters worse (if that were possible) it is accompanied by videos of glamorous young adults in party mode, being loving to each other and drinking wine. What is wrong with Anglican leadership today? What makes it so difficult to communicate the gospel?
