Bishop of Shyira elected

The Province of the Anglican Church of Rwanda (PEAR) is pleased to announce that during the meeting of the House of Bishops convened on 15th September 2016, the Reverend Samuel Mugisha Mugiraneza was elected as Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Shyira. His consecration is proposed to be held on the 5th March 2017 at St John’s Cathedral of Shyira Diocese in Musanze.
 
Rev. Samuel Mugisha Mugiraneza was born on 21st May 1971. He was ordained Deacon on 30th April 2000 and priest on 23rd December 2001. ed served in the St Etienne Cathedral as Subdean until end of 2014, he is currently Pastor in-charge of Development in Shyira Diocese. He holds an M.A in Management from Maastricht School of Management in Netherlands, he also holds a Diploma in Theology from Uganda Christian University. He is currently a Doctor of Ministry Candidate (D.Min Candidate) in the Beenson Divinity School, Samford University.  Rev. Samuel Mugisha Mugiraneza is married to Jackie Mugisha and they are blessed with 3 children.
